1. Eligibility

• Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proof of age is required for winners of alcoholic beverages. Valid government-issued identification must be presented upon pick-up.

2. Auction Dates

• The auction will begin on or about July 1 and end on July 31 at midnight.

3. Bidding

• All bids are final and cannot be retracted.
• Participants are responsible for monitoring their bids.

4. Winning Bids

• The highest bid at the close of the auction will be deemed the winner.
• Winners will be notified via email within 48 hours of the auction closing.

5. Payment

• Payment must be made within 7 days of notification. Accepted payment methods will be detailed in the winner notification email.

6. Item Pick-Up

• Winners can pick up their items on August 22 at 7 PM. The location will be determined and communicated to winners in advance.
• Winners of alcoholic beverages must provide proof of age at pick-up.

7. Shipping and Handling

• If the winner elects to have the item(s) shipped, shipping and handling (S&H) charges will be added to the total amount due. Details will be provided in the winner notification email.

8. Tax Deductibility

• The winning bid amount may be tax deductible and claimed as a deduction.
• Participants should consult their tax accountant/professional for specific advice regarding tax deductions.

9. Tax Liability 

• The winning bidder will be responsible for payment of any sales tax.
• NBHSAF, their sponsors, or contributors, will not be held liable for any sales tax.
• Participants should consult their tax accountant/professional for specific advice regarding tax payment liabilities.

10. Compliance

• The auction will comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the State of Wisconsin.

11. Liability

• The New Berlin High Schools Alumni Foundation, their sponsors, or donors are not responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur during item pick-up or use.

12. Privacy

• Participant information will be used solely for the purpose of the auction and will not be shared with third parties.

13. Changes to Rules

• The New Berlin High Schools Alumni Foundation reserves the right to update or modify these rules at any time without prior notice.
