During the April 11th Board of Directors Meeting, the New Berlin High Schools Alumni Foundation welcomed a familiar face to its helm. Dan Slane, a distinguished founding member of the Foundation, was nominated and unanimously elected as its President. With a wealth of experience and dedication to the community, Mr. Slane’s leadership promises to steer the Foundation toward new heights.

Mr. Slane’s roots run deep in New Berlin, having attended grade and high school in the area before pursuing higher education at institutions including WCTC, UW Whitewater, and the University of Phoenix. His extensive career as a master carpenter culminated in roles such as Business Representative for the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters and, later, Safety Director for the Doral Corporation.

Notably, Mr. Slane’s recent involvement in orchestrating the Combined 50th Reunion for the New Berlin West Class of 1971, 1972, and the Eisenhower Class of 1972 showcases his knack for community engagement and organization.

With Mr. Slane at the helm, the Foundation anticipates leveraging his strong ties to the community and contracting companies, along with his proven leadership acumen, to ensure continued growth and stability in fulfilling its mission.
