New Berlin High Schools Alumni Foundation proudly announced Tyler Haskey as the recipient of the 2023 Vocational and Trades Scholarship. Amidst a pool of impressive applicants, Tyler’s exceptional qualifications and dedication distinguished him as the deserving awardee.
Currently a student at New Berlin West High School, Tyler has already embarked on a promising career path through a work program with the esteemed Doral Rental Corporation in Milwaukee, WI. Additionally, he has been actively engaged in employment at Pilgrim Park Middle School in Brookfield, WI. With aspirations to commence his apprenticeship program with Doral Corporation this fall, Tyler’s commitment to his craft is palpable.
Rob Keelan, Vice President of Doral Equipment Rental, commended Tyler’s outstanding performance, noting his unparalleled competency and the respect he commands from his peers. Keelan emphasized Tyler’s readiness to transition into a supervisory role and spoke highly of his decision to pursue an apprenticeship with Doral Corporation in machine moving and rigging.
Established in 2022 by alumni from New Berlin West and New Berlin Eisenhower High Schools, the New Berlin High Schools Alumni Foundation aims to support graduating seniors like Tyler who are inclined towards vocational education or apprenticeship programs. This scholarship initiative is made possible through the generosity of charitable donations from companies, alumni, and individuals, reflecting the community’s commitment to nurturing future talent in vocational and trade fields.
