The Future is Skilled.

We're Helping Build It.

America needs electricians, plumbers, welders, and skilled tradespeople — and it needs them now. The New Berlin High School Alumni Foundation connects students with scholarships, programs, and apprenticeships that lead to rewarding, six-figure careers — without the burden of four-year college debt. Your support changes lives. And it builds the workforce our community depends on.

Why a Two Year Degree?

Skip the debt. Skip the wait. Two-year programs put you on the job faster, earning real money while your peers are still in a classroom. In today's trades market, practical skills are in demand — and employers are ready to hire.

I want to...

Not sure where to start? You’re not alone. Explore the trades and discover a career path that matches your strengths, your interests, and your future.

Ready to take the next step? Wisconsin offers a wide range of two-year programs designed to get you trained, certified, and working in a career you’re proud of.

There are sixteen schools in the Wisconsin Technical College System, each offering a wide array of programs at a location close to home. Find the one that’s right for you.

Earn while you learn. Wisconsin apprenticeship programs offer hands-on training across seventeen trades statewide — a direct path to a skilled career without classroom debt.

2026 applications are now open. If you’re pursuing a vocational, technical, or trade program, the NBHSAF Scholarship could help make it possible. Apply online or pick up a hard copy from your Guidance Office.

Career Programs — Your Path Starts Here

Wisconsin offers more career and apprenticeship programs than most students ever imagined. Earn while you learn, gain real-world skills, and launch a career that matters — without the debt.

Industry — Let's Build This Together

The skilled trades shortage affects every business in our community. NBHSAF is building the pipeline of tomorrow's workforce — and we can do it better together. Whether through sponsorship, mentorship, or partnership, your industry's involvement makes a direct difference.

Scholarship Fund — Investing in Your Community's Future

Every scholarship we award is made possible by the generosity of New Berlin residents, local businesses, trade unions, and the dedicated alumni of West and Eisenhower High Schools. Together, we're opening doors for students who are ready to work, learn, and build something lasting.
