Every year, between 10 and 20 students apply for our scholarship. This growing need highlights the importance of trade scholarship funding in helping students enter the trades, start apprenticeships, and begin building their futures.
But we’re only able to say “yes” to one or two.
As a small, locally funded foundation, every scholarship we award comes directly from community support.
There is no large endowment behind our work. No national funding source.
Each year, the number of scholarships we can offer is determined entirely by the donations we receive.
More students are choosing paths in the skilled trades—careers that are essential to our communities and in high demand.
They’re ready to work. Ready to learn. Ready to contribute.
But getting started isn’t always simple.
Costs like tools, equipment, and program expenses can create real barriers at the exact moment these students are ready to begin.
If funding weren’t a limitation, the impact would be immediate.
Instead of awarding one or two scholarships, we could support many more students each year.
That means:
We don’t limit scholarships because we want to.
We limit them because we have to.
And every year, that means there are students we simply can’t support—despite being ready and deserving.
If you’d like to help us say “yes” to more students, your support makes a direct impact.
Every contribution helps expand opportunities for students who are ready to build their future in the trades.
